Nikita Tihonov, MD
Nikita Tihonov, MD, who has extensive laparoscopic and bariatric surgical training, joined The N.E.W. Program’s surgical team in 2011 and works closely with Brian Quebbemann, M.D. and Justin Braverman, M.D. Dr. Tihonov completed residency training in general surgery at the New York University School of Medicine. He has also pursued training and experience in basic science research. Results of that work have been published in esteemed scientific journals such as the American Journal of Pathology and the Journal of Surgical Research.
